Online booking for a beauty salon
The client picks the specialist, the service and the time. The receptionist sees the whole day in one calendar and does not have to keep the schedule in their head.
How this business works
A beauty salon has hairdressers, colourists, nail technicians, brow artists and beauticians under one roof. Each has their own services, durations and working pattern: some work shifts, some come in for half a day.
Bookings arrive from everywhere at once: calls, messengers, social media, people dropping by. Nearly all of it goes through the receptionist, and how busy the staff are depends on whether that person answered in time and got it right.
What gets in the way
Bookings depend on one person
The receptionist is off sick or at lunch, and the client who wrote at that moment went where somebody answered.
Clashes and gaps
Two clients were booked for the same time, and forty minutes were left between a colouring and a haircut that nobody can use.
Arguments about pay
The specialist counts one figure, the owner another. Sorting it out means going through a month of paper notes.
Products leave without a record
A shampoo was sold to take home but is still listed in stock. At the end of the month the numbers do not match.
How BookDo handles it
Booking by link around the clock
Put the link in a social profile, a messenger or on a website. The client sees only free time and can take several services in one visit.
Own services and schedule for each specialist
The schedule is set for a month and copied to the next. The client is shown only the specialists who do the chosen service.
Clients reschedule themselves
Their own account has rescheduling to another free time, cancelling and a chat. No call needed.
Commission with a breakdown
Pay is calculated from completed services, and every line shows which booking it came from.
Products in the same booking
A mask or shampoo is added to the booking as one line and written off from stock.

Common questions
Does the client need to install an app?
No. The booking form and the client account open in the phone browser.
Can I run two salons in one workspace?
Yes. Salons are set up as branches, each with its own staff and services. Money and reports can be viewed per branch or together.
Will a specialist see other people's pay?
No. Access is set by roles; pay and purchase prices are visible only to those you allow.
