A cabin for two nights, a sauna for three hours and places on the boat on Saturday. It is one park and one calendar.
How this business works
A holiday park takes bookings for different things at once: cabins and tents by the night, a sauna, gazebo or hot tub by the hour, plus boat trips, fishing and tours with a limited number of places.
The season is short and weekends are booked in advance. Enquiries come from listing sites, social media and by phone, and the administrator often works from a phone out on the grounds.
What gets in the way
Three notebooks instead of one
Cabins in one spreadsheet, the sauna in another, trips in a messenger. Hotel software cannot do hourly rental, salon software cannot do nights.
Double bookings in season
A cabin was taken on a listing site while the same dates were promised by phone.
Guests do not turn up
A booking without a deposit in high season is a lost weekend.
Extras get lost
Firewood, a barbecue, the sauna were ordered on site and never made it into the bill.

The guest pays from the booking page through ATOL Pay and the booking is confirmed automatically.

Firewood, the sauna, barbecue hire are added as a line; goods are written off from stock.
The workspace on the phone
The administrator confirms a booking and records a payment from the phone without going back to a computer.

Common questions
Does BookDo have a channel manager?
No. Only booked dates are exchanged with listing sites. Prices and descriptions are managed in the sites' own dashboards.
Can I run several parks?
Yes, each park is a branch. Money and reports can be viewed for each and together.
Can a guest move a trip or a sauna booking themselves?
A booking by time is rescheduled by the guest in their account. Stays and places on a session are moved by the administrator.
