Online booking for boat and yacht trips
A scheduled trip is sold by places, a private charter by the hour. Both kinds of booking have to see each other.
How this business works
The owner of a boat, a yacht or a small fleet sells trips two ways: places on a scheduled departure and hire of the whole vessel for a group.
The season is short and demand depends on the weather. Tickets are sold at the pier, on social media and through tour platforms. Capacity is strictly limited.
What gets in the way
Places are counted at the pier
Some tickets were sold online, some on the spot, and before departure it turns out there are more people than places.
A trip and a private charter at the same time
The boat was promised to a group for the evening, and places on a trip had already been sold for that evening.
Weather cancels a departure
You need to reach everyone who bought tickets quickly and move them.
A short season without figures
Which trips fill up and which sail half empty stays a feeling.
How BookDo handles it
Trips with a number of places
The timetable is created by weekdays for the whole season. Each booking reduces the places left.
Private charter
Run in the same workspace as a booking by time.
Closing a trip for booking
With one button in the calendar. Clicking a trip opens the guest list with phone numbers, and bookings can be cancelled for all selected at once.
Tickets and prepayment
Adult and child tickets with their own prices, card payment through ATOL Pay.
Orders from platforms
Sales from Sputnik8, TicketsCloud and Tripster take the same places.

Common questions
Will the system check that a trip and a charter do not overlap?
Places on a trip and hire by time live in one workspace and are both visible in the calendar, but they do not block each other automatically. For the time of a private charter, booking for the trip is closed with a button.
Can I sell tickets at the pier?
Yes. A booking is created in the workspace from the phone and the place is deducted at once.
Will it suit paddle boards, fishing, horse rides?
Yes, if it is a departure on a timetable with a number of places or a rental by time.
